With a digital video recorder (DVR), you're in control. A DVR is an interactive
TV recording device the helps you manage your TV viewing. A DVR records and
plays back television programs in high quality digital format. Because it
stores the programs you record on a hard drive you are able to pause rewind,
stop or fast-forward a recorded program just like you would with a VCR. Like
a VCR, a DVR records and plays back television programs, but unlike the VCR,
it stores the programs in digital (rather than analog) form. However, an
MCTV DVR offers many advantages over the VCR:
| • | pause, rewind, stop or fast-forward a recorded program. |
| • | watch what you want - when you want. |
| • | pause live TV. |
| • | create your own instant replays. |
| • | record your favorite shows - one episode or the complete season or series. |
| • | record two shows at the same time. |
| • | professional installation and local service. |
